Groups 🗓️
Groups are the main initial screen of the system, containing information about active groups, with a filtering system by group name, branch, and program, as shown in the image above. Each group has a name and is linked to a specific branch and program, as well as information about the users who have access to each group. Your screen will display the groups you have access to. If there are no groups, it is likely that the administrator has not granted you the appropriate access.
Clicking the left mouse button on a group opens it in the journal. The right mouse button opens the group's context menu.
Through the context menu, you can:
- Pin groups to the top of the list (pinned groups are always displayed at the top).
- Copy the group link for sending via message or other purposes.
- Open the group in a new tab.
- Add a comment.
- Add a task.
- Edit the group.
- After closing a group, it can be sent to the archive.
- The Share button in the context menu is for sharing access rights, in other words, giving editing rights for this group to a teacher or administrator.
- You can add the group to the schedule.
Searching and Filtering Groups
Searching and filtering groups allows for flexible filtering of groups by branch, program parameters, or a few letters in the name. When selecting a branch and program, groups matching your selection will be displayed. You can enter a few characters from the group name, and only groups containing these characters in their name will be displayed.
💡 Important
- The lifecycle of a group ends with its closure and transfer to the archive category. This usually happens at the end of the year or academic period. Along with sending the group to the archive, all clients in the group are also sent to the archive.
- To search for a group that has been moved to the archive, you need to click the active button in the search bar. This will change it to archive, and the search will be performed among archived groups.
- Groups cannot be deleted if they contain clients; only an empty group can be deleted.
Schedule
To the right in the group search bar, there is a button to switch the group display to the "Schedule" view.
This tool allows you to add groups to the schedule. By clicking on the corresponding date, you can set up one-time and recurring events.
For example ☝️ you can set up a group to be in the schedule every Tuesday, Thursday from 17:00 to 17:45.
Furthermore, you can set the start date for the group in the schedule and the end date. For example, starting on September 1st and ending on May 31st.
