Tasks
Hooray! we've added tasks, and comments are now only used for saving information. Now comments are just comments; they store information and that's it, requiring no action.
If you need to do something and not forget about it, add tasks ☑️. You can set an assignee and a deadline for a task. This way, you won't forget anything. Tasks are added in the same way as comments and are linked to all system entities 😎.
If an entity has a task linked to it, a special "tasks" icon ☑️ is displayed next to it. Clicking on it will give you more detailed information.
Kanban
We've developed our own Kanban board 🎯 to display all your tasks. Kanban is a well-known visual system for managing team work, one of the most popular management methodologies. To open it, you need to click on the Tasks button in the navigation panel.
Kanban boards are an effective tool for task management 🧐, ensuring transparency and structure in work processes. They allow businesses to easily track the current status of tasks, optimize workflows, and improve the efficiency of teamwork. By dragging a task between columns, you can change the task status to resolved, reopened, active, or new. Additionally, you can sort tasks by deadline, responsible assignee, and search by message text, which is useful when there are many tasks.
One of the main advantages of the Kanban view is the ability to visualize the entire workload and distribute tasks among team members. This helps managers and team members better understand which tasks are in progress, which are completed, and also identify potential problems or delays. Furthermore, Kanban boards contribute to improved communication within the team 🕹️🎮, as participants see the overall progress and can easily discuss priorities and task distribution. This helps reduce the time spent on coordination and decision-making, which in turn accelerates project completion.
Tasks can be commented on, and you can use text formatting, including lists and hyperlinks.
