Reports 📊
In this article, we will get a closer look at the reporting functionality in GulliverCRM.
Reports in GulliverCRM are the analytics hub that transforms raw data into clear insights and precise figures 🎯. This tool gives you a systematic view of employee performance, process efficiency, and financial flows. It forms the foundation for making well-informed management decisions. You can find reports in Settings → Analytics. Here, you select the subject for analysis: finances (money) 💰, employees (people) 👥, sales (deals) 🤝, and other key business aspects.
📅 Reporting Periods and Data Granularity
One of the most critical principles of reporting is the time period. Our system uses standard calendar intervals: months, weeks, quarters, and years. To ensure fast loading and display, reports are pre-calculated and kept up-to-date automatically 🔄, refreshing data "under the hood" without requiring your input.
Granularity means detail. You can "break down" a quarterly report into months or weeks to see dynamics within the period. This is critical for identifying bottlenecks and hidden trends 📈.
For non-standard analysis, you can set any custom period using the calendar. The system will generate a report exactly within your specified boundaries.
🔄 Regeneration (Updating) Reports
Why is this important? To see the most current data at the moment you need to make an urgent decision.
We use a hybrid approach: background pre-calculation for speed and on-the-fly generation for custom queries. If you need up-to-the-minute data, click the "Update Report" button. Updating large reports may take a few minutes ⏳—please be patient, the system will complete the calculation.
📊 Comparing Reporting Periods
Why is this important? To evaluate dynamics, growth, or decline in metrics and understand if your strategy is working.
You can easily compare current data with the previous period or the same period last year. This helps separate seasonal fluctuations from real progress or issues.
📈 Data Visualization: Flexibility and Clarity
Why is this important? Different data types and tasks require different presentation methods. Proper visualization speeds up understanding.
Data is presented in smart tables and interactive charts. All key chart types are available:
- Vertical and Horizontal Bar Charts – for comparing values.
- Line Graphs – for tracking trends and dynamics over time.
- Pie Charts – for displaying structure and proportions.
You can change the visualization type on the fly without affecting the raw data. We conducted extensive research to create a minimalistic yet powerful set of customization options. Chart axes adjust dynamically based on data type:
- Aggregation: Sum, average, minimum, maximum.
- Data Processing: Skipping zero values, merging duplicates.
- Grouped Columns: Displaying multiple metrics in a single column for comprehensive comparison.
- and more.
Experiment with the settings to find the clearest presentation style for each task 🎨.
🔍 Filtering and Sorting
Why is this important? To focus on what matters by eliminating "information noise" and quickly spotting anomalies or top performers.
You can filter and sort data both in tables (by columns) and directly on chart axes. This provides unprecedented flexibility for drilling down and focusing analysis on the exact segment you need.
📤 Export
Why is this important? To share findings with your team or partners, or to use the data for deep external processing.
Any report or chart can be instantly exported:
- To Excel (.xlsx) – for further modeling, calculations, or creating presentations.
- To Image (.png) – for quick insertion into reports, emails, or chats.
👨💼 Flexible Access Control System
Why is this important? To protect confidential information and provide employees with only the data they need for their work.
Access rights to reports are fully integrated into GulliverCRM's overall security system:
- Managers and Owners have full access to all data 👑.
- Employees and departments can be granted access only to specific, relevant reports.
- Personal Reports (e.g., reports on personal workload and efficiency) are available to each employee in their personal profile 👤.
Reports in GulliverCRM are not just numbers; they are your business's digital twin, always ready for dialogue and helping you see the essence of what's happening.
